Rapinoe was the one who had two points for the United States in the 4-3 victory against Australia in the Olympic bronze medal match at Tokyo in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic which Japan had to delay until 2021 as a result of the pandemic won the gold in Tokyo in 2016.
